More than 150 years ago the Hotel Brückenwirt in St. Johann im Pongau was built as a local tavern and pub. In 1933 the grandparents of your hostess Petra Nocker-Schwarzenbacher, who lived in the nearby village of Goldegg, decided to buy the tavern Brückenwirt and to move to St. Johann. Then, a small agricultural business was part of the Brückenwirt tavern.
